Terms & Conditions (Austrian Verein)

Effective date: 2025-08-15

1) Scope & relationship to the Statutes

These Terms govern how members interact with the Organisation online (website use, membership onboarding, booking of member activities, donations).
They supplement—and do not replace—the Organisation’s Statutes (Satzung). In case of conflict, the Statutes prevail as required by Austrian association law.

2) The Organisation (imprint basics)

  • Name: International Foundation of Holistic Health - Europäisches Bildungsinstitut
– Verein (non-profit association). Even called Recharge Haven™

  • Registration: Austrian Association Register (ZVR number: 1649588826)

  • Registered seat (Austria): Klagenfurt am Wörthersee (Klagenfurt am Wörthersee), c/o Siegfried Spannring, Zustellanschrift 9020 Klagenfurt am Wörthersee, Waidmannsdorfer StraĂźe 117, Ă–sterreich

  • Operational address (Sweden, venue for activities): Värtavägen 35, 115 29 Stockholm

  • Email: [email protected]

  • Phone: +46 (0)76 311 81 23
(Your full website “Impressum” will additionally list the legally required details.)

3) Membership & eligibility

  • Participation in our activities is members-only. Public commercial sales are not offered.

  • Membership categories, rights/obligations, and termination are defined in the Statutes.

  • By applying for membership online, you confirm that you meet any eligibility criteria set out in the Statutes and House Rules.

4) Contributions, donations & transparency

  • The Organisation is funded by membership contributions and voluntary donations.

  • Suggested contribution levels may be shown in SEK for convenience. Where legally required, any taxes/charges will be disclosed at checkout.

  • Donations are voluntary and outside any specific consideration. Receipts can be issued upon request. (Tax deductibility applies only if and when the Organisation obtains the relevant Austrian status and listing—if applicable.)

  • Membership contributions are used solely to fulfil the non-profit purpose set out in the Statutes.

5) Member activities & bookings (sessions/courses)

  • We provide meditation sessions using EES technology and personal development courses for members.

  • Booking is done via our website/booking tool or by contacting us. A booking allocates a member slot; it is not a public retail sale.

  • Rescheduling & cancellations:

    • Day sessions: cancel or change ≥ 12 hours before start.

    • Night sessions: cancel or change ≥ 24 hours before start.

    • Unused sessions within a package validity period are not refundable.

  • If we need to adjust times or formats for organisational reasons, we will propose equivalent alternatives.

6) Right of withdrawal (distance contracts)

  • Where EU/Austrian consumer law applies (e.g., where the Organisation qualifies as an “entrepreneur” and a fee-based membership is concluded online), consumer members may have a 14-day withdrawal right for distance contracts, unless performance has begun with your explicit request and acknowledgement of waiver.

  • To exercise withdrawal (if applicable), email [email protected] within 14 days of joining/purchase. We will confirm receipt and process any required reversal.

  • If an activity or package has already begun at your request, the withdrawal right may no longer apply to that portion.
(If consumer law does not apply because we act purely as a non-commercial Verein, this section does not create additional rights beyond mandatory law.)

7) Complaints

If something goes wrong, contact us promptly at [email protected]. We will investigate and remedy where within our control. Complaints do not cover circumstances outside our control (see §9 Liability/force majeure).

8) Health & conduct

Our sessions support relaxation and wellbeing. They do not diagnose, treat, or replace medical care.

Members agree to follow staff guidance and House Rules to maintain a calm and respectful environment.

9) Liability, noise & force majeure

  • The Organisation is not liable for delays or disruptions due to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure).

  • Ambient noise in or around the venue that we cannot control is not, by itself, a valid basis for a refund; we will always act to minimise disturbances.

10) Data protection & cookies

We process personal data per our Privacy Policy under the GDPR and Austrian law. Non-essential cookies/trackers are used only with consent in line with §165 TKG 2021.

11) Alternative dispute resolution (ADR)

We are not obliged to participate in ADR before a consumer dispute body. If a dispute with a consumer cannot be resolved, we will, as required by §19(3) AStG, inform you on a durable medium about the competent ADR body (e.g., Internet-Ombudsstelle/Verbraucherschlichtung) and state whether we are willing to participate at that time.

12) Governing law & venue

These Terms are governed by Austrian law (excluding conflict-of-laws rules). Mandatory consumer protections of your habitual residence remain unaffected. Jurisdiction lies with the courts at the Organisation’s registered seat, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

13) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect legal or operational changes. The effective date will be shown above. Material changes will be communicated in an appropriate manner.
